Shooter Kills Deputy then Self

Not far from the Wayne County line just crossing into Greene County, a deputy responding to a late night domestic dispute, was shot and killed before the gunman killed himself.
Greene County Deputy John Willis was killed by 22 year old Daniel Meyers off of Brooks Place, who also took his own life.
Greene County Sheriff Lemmie Smith says the incident took place in the Brook Meadow Mobile Home Park, where the shooter appeared to be intoxicated. Meyers shot Deputy Willis twice, before turning the gun on himself.
